U.S. News and World
Report magazine annually ranks public high schools throughout the United States based upon college readiness, math and reading proficiencies, as well as
student/teacher ratios.
Out of the 31,200 public high schools ranked by the
magazine, Audubon High School, with a student to teacher ration of 14:1 and
proficiency rates of 98% in math and 90% in reading, was one of only 86 schools
to be recognized in the state of Iowa receiving a Bronze award. The rankings for all the schools, by state
