Staying Connected during Winter Weather

With the winter season already upon us its time to make sure that everyone is prepared for school delays, early dismissals and cancellations.

The Audubon Community School uses the following media sources to get information out concerning weather related announcements:

Radio and TV Stations:

• KSOM - 96.5  Atlantic
• KNOD - 105.3 Harlan
• KCCI - TV 8 - Des Moines
• WHO - TV 13 - Des Moines

Many of these stations have mobile phone apps that once downloaded will allow you to receive updates concerning the weather, road conditions and school announcements.

The Audubon Community School also uses social media sites to get information out concerning weather related announcements.
